The Association for Community Health Improvement (ACHI) will hold its national conference for community health and community benefit in St. Louis, Missouri, March 12-14, 2013, at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch. The conference is planned to help attendees succeed inside their organizations in meeting new requirements and opportunities; work effectively on a local and regional level as health improvement leaders; and connect to peers and national organizations, resources and tools. The conference will focus on four major topic tracks to expand knowledge and enhance performance in achieving community health goals:
• Advancing Community Health Assessment Tactics and Tools
• Building Evidence-informed Implementation Strategies and Plans
• Demonstrating Returns on Investment for Population Health
• Engaging Health and Community Leaders as Effective Advocates
The Public Health Foundation (PHF) will be exhibiting to provide conference attendees with information on improving community health, including quality improvement, performance management and workforce development services, products, and resources.

PHF will display success stories and other information on how health departments; community based organizations; hospitals; universities; and others have used The Community Guide to improve health in communities. PHF will also provide information on TRAIN, the nation’s most comprehensive learning resource for professionals who protect the public’s heath, quality improvement services, and CDC’s Winnable Battles.
